Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer

The client is a large international public-sector organization operating in a highly regulated and security-focused environment, coordinating complex operations and ensuring operational resilience and continuity of critical services across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.

• Engineering degree in a relevant technological field.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Language proficiency: English at B2 level and Polish at C1 level.
• Hands-on operational experience with PKI systems and deploying Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Experience with security monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or Darktrace.
• Practical expertise in risk-based vulnerability management using tools like Tenable and coordinating penetration testing.
• Experience performing application security assessments using CheckMarx SAST and DAST.
• Ability to implement security controls aligned with Zero Trust Architecture principles.
• Solid understanding of network protocols including DNS, LDAP, SMTP, and PKI/CA, and operating system defenses.
• Familiarity with frameworks including the ISO 27000 series, SANS CIS critical controls, and OWASP standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to document and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Possession of at least 3 internationally recognized certifications from: GCED, GPPA, GCWN, GCUX, GCCC, SSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, GSEC, ECSA, SCPO or valid equivalents.

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's overarching cyber defense infrastructure.
• Actively monitor security environments, respond promptly to system alerts and events, and resolve complex technical faults.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and network engineering teams to translate security needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Apply and manage system patches to mitigate technical vulnerabilities.
• Provide support across various security technologies including cloud security, data loss protection (DLP), antivirus, user access, and internet filtering.
• Ensure all managed security components meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and draft technical documentation for cyber defense components.
• Participate in information security audits and recommend enhancements.
