Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer (Freelance)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development.
• Strong experience in Python web scraping using BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or similar tools, including dynamic content handling (JS, AJAX, infinite scroll) and API use via proxies.
• Ability to extract data from complex structures including hierarchies, archived pages, and inconsistent HTML.
• Experience with data cleaning, normalization, validation, and delivering structured formats such as CSV, JSON, and Google Sheets.
• Skilled in handling anti-bot mechanisms and dynamic site structures at scale.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and containerization (Docker) in workflows.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks like LangChain or OpenRouter for automation.
• Strong detail orientation and independent troubleshooting skills.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or above.

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring coverage, accuracy, and delivery of structured datasets.
• Use internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation.
• Extract data reliably from dynamic and interactive web sources, handling JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior.
• Enforce data quality through validation checks and cross-source consistency controls before delivery.
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets with efficient batching or parallelization and maintain stability against site changes.
