Tester Hurtowni Danych / ETL Tester

PKO Finat Sp. z o.o. is offering a position focused on testing data warehouse solutions, ETL/ELT processes, and system integrations in a financial sector environment.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Tester, Data Systems Tester, or Integration Tester
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Ability to navigate data warehouse structures
• Understanding of data models (star, snowflake)
• Knowledge of fact and dimension tables and their relationships
• Ability to verify data correctness at the data warehouse level
• Experience analyzing and testing ETL/ELT processes
• Ability to identify data sources and trace data flow between systems
• Experience working with large data volumes
• Knowledge of data quality and validation
• Experience testing REST API and/or SOAP services
• Ability to analyze API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, WSDL)
• Ability to create and execute API tests
• Ability to analyze API responses, HTTP status codes, JSON and XML data structures
• Experience testing system integrations using APIs

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial, banking or insurance sector
• Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Azure Data Factory)
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or other data warehouse platforms
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau
• Experience with API test automation tools (Postman Collection Runner, Newman, ReadyAPI)
• Basic automation skills in Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with API performance testing
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Usage of tools like Kibana, Grafana, Splunk
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Knowledge of CI/CD

• Testing business solutions based on data warehouses
• Preparing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test reports
• Verifying data flow correctness between source systems, data warehouse, integration, and reporting layers
• Analyzing data quality and identifying inconsistencies and errors
• Validating ETL/ELT processes
• Testing system integrations
• Testing REST API and SOAP services
• Verifying communication correctness between applications and services
• Analyzing logs and error messages
• Collaborating with business analysts, developers, and data teams
• Preparing SQL queries to validate data correctness
• Participating in system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Documenting test results and reporting defects in dedicated tools
