Software Architect / Tech Lead

Scalo is a company engaged in projects involving system architecture design, presales expertise, and modern technology solutions including AI tools and IoT. The company supports internal mobility, technical competence development, and operates in international project environments.

• At least 8 years of experience as a System Architect, Software Architect, or Tech Lead
• Experience designing distributed systems based on event-driven architecture
• Designing applications emphasizing high availability, scalability, and performance
• Proficiency in Go and at least one area among React, Next.js, or Flutter
• Practical experience with Kafka, MQTT, and designing IoT solutions
• Experience working with Kubernetes and designing container-based solutions
• Designing and developing REST API, gRPC, and OpenAPI-compliant solutions
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization (familiarity with Keycloak is a plus)
• Experience designing Edge Computing solutions
• Experience with relational databases and time-series databases such as InfluxDB
• Utilization of modern AI tools in software development
• Ability to make architectural decisions and effectively communicate them to business and technical stakeholders
• Experienced in technically leading distributed engineering teams
• Fluent in English at level C1

• Designing and developing target product architecture and support systems including FUOTA mechanisms
• Designing event-driven architecture solutions and asynchronous communication integrating IoT devices
• Designing Edge Computing solutions including scenarios without constant Internet access
• Defining architectural standards, documenting design decisions (ADR), and implementing engineering best practices
• Identifying and reducing technical debt and coordinating application security measures and audit recommendations
• Technically leading a distributed engineering team including work planning, code reviews, mentoring, and ensuring high software quality processes
• Collaborating with business, technical, and regulatory stakeholders and representing the team in project and governance meetings
• Justifying architectural decisions and supporting organizational growth through implementation of modern AI tools in software development processes
