Senior Data Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT provides B2B collaboration for IT specialists, executing projects for leading clients including one of the largest banks in Poland.

• Experience designing and building modern data warehouses.
• Practical knowledge of building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Expert knowledge of relational databases Oracle and PostgreSQL, including design, construction, and tuning.
• Experience working with Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience with event-driven architecture technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Advanced knowledge of Linux.

• Design, build, and develop Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Design and implement IT solutions for data integration and ingestion.
• Analyze data and develop logical and physical models.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for relational databases and data warehouses in on-premise and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Design and implement online and offline data processing workflows using on-premise and GCP tools.
• Develop data loading solutions for structured and unstructured data using Python and Rust.
• Design and develop thematic Data Marts on relational and columnar databases.
• Develop concepts and implement solutions according to business requirements.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and participate in production problem solving.
• Support testing and deployment of changes in data feeding processes.
• Maintain and service deployed solutions and support their continuous development.
• Work following the DevSecOps methodology.
