Project Manager

Scalo is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in software construction and integration projects within banking. The role involves migrating a central middleware platform to new solutions based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and a modern technology stack.

• Minimum 7 years' experience as a Project Manager
• Higher education in IT or related field with an engineer degree
• Experience leading software construction and integration projects in banking
• Fluent communication in English
• Knowledge and practical experience in system design and architecture

Nice to have:

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience working within matrix organizations

• Managing software construction and integration projects in banking
• Migrating the existing central middleware platform to new DDD-based solutions using a modern technology stack
• Decomposing project scope, preparing and updating initiative plans, and managing execution
• Working within a matrix organizational structure
• Assigning tasks, tracking status, and organizing workshops
• Managing projects according to defined banking processes
• Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects
• Defining schedules, milestones, and dependencies
• Coordinating and collaborating with project teams
• Managing project scope, changes, and risks
• Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks
• Monitoring budget and resources, controlling costs, and reporting deviations
• Reporting and escalating risks and issues to decision makers; preparing materials for Steering Committee and Sponsor
• Ensuring quality and compliance with bank and IT standards
• Working remotely with occasional visits to offices in Warsaw, Wrocław, or Poznań
