iOS Developer (IoT sphere)

Our client is a global leader in access solutions and smart home technologies. They design and engineer connected home products including garage door openers, gate systems, smart locks, cameras, and smart access management tools. Their flagship platform allows users to control, monitor, and automate access-related scenarios through connected devices. The project focuses on enhancing a customer-facing mobile application that supports millions of users and manages a large ecosystem of residential devices.

• Minimum 2 years experience developing native iOS applications
• Strong knowledge of Swift; familiarity with Objective-C for legacy code
• Experience with UIKit; prefer SwiftUI experience
• Experience with MVVM architecture; familiarity with MVI, Clean Architecture, or Use Cases is a plus
• Experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await) and/or Combine
• Experience consuming REST APIs using URLSession, Alamofire, or similar
• Experience writing Unit Tests (XCTest)
• Preferred experience with Git source control
• Experience creating technical documentation preferred
• Understanding of home automation technologies (Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home) preferred
• Experience with Agile/Lean processes
• Basic experience with CI/CD tools; experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines is a plus
• Willingness to travel periodically to Chicago
• Good verbal and written English (minimum B2 level)

• Develop, implement, and maintain native iOS application features for the myQ platform
• Refactor existing code and improve code architecture
• Support other teams on the project and contribute to codebase modularization
• Investigate the product and describe the architecture of existing solutions
• Write Unit Tests and ensure coding standards
• Optimize CI build times and improve pipelines
• Address crashes and production issues when necessary
• Collaborate daily with cross-geographic teams and the client

English B2 or higher required. Candidates from Belarus and Ukraine are restricted. Daily communication with the client is required. Strong communication skills are mandatory.
