Tester Hurtowni Danych / ETL Tester

PKO BP Finat is a company based in Warsaw focusing on data warehouse solutions and integration testing within the financial sector.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Tester, Data Systems Tester, or Integration Tester.
• Very good knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to navigate data warehouse structures.
• Ability to analyze data models such as star and snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of fact and dimension tables and their relationships.
• Ability to verify data correctness at the data warehouse level.
• Experience in analyzing and testing ETL/ELT processes.
• Ability to identify data sources and track data flow between systems.
• Experience working with large data volumes.
• Knowledge of data quality and validation concepts.
• Experience testing REST API and/or SOAP services.
• Ability to analyze API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, WSDL).
• Ability to create and execute API tests.
• Ability to analyze API responses, HTTP status codes, and data structures (JSON, XML).
• Experience testing system integrations using APIs.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial, banking, or insurance sector.
• Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Azure Data Factory).
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or other data warehouse platforms.
• Experience with automated tests.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience with API test automation tools (Postman Collection Runner, Newman, ReadyAPI).
• Basic automation test skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with API performance testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Splunk.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Test applications and business solutions based on data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Verify data flow correctness between source systems, data warehouse, integration, and reporting layers.
• Analyze data quality and identify inconsistencies and errors.
• Validate ETL/ELT processes.
• Test integrations between systems.
• Test REST API and SOAP services.
• Verify communication correctness between applications and services.
• Analyze logs and error messages.
• Collaborate with business analysts, programmers, and data teams.
• Prepare SQL queries to verify data correctness.
• Participate in system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Document test results and report defects in dedicated tools.
