SAP VIM Germany Business Readiness Lead

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoice-to-Pay (ITP), or Accounts Payable transformations.
• Proven success in global template rollouts in international environments.
• Deep understanding of invoice processing including PO/non-PO invoices, exception handling, compliance requirements, and payment processes.
• Experience coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proven project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and change management in global matrix environments.
• Experience leading or participating in large-scale, multinational, multilingual implementations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to diagnose functional gaps or integration issues across multiple systems.
• Knowledge of best practices for implementing internal controls (preferably SOX) and tax compliance in automated invoice processing workflows.
• Higher education degree in business, finance, IT, or related fields.
• Native or fluent German language skills (mandatory).
• Advanced English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Certification in SAP VIM and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Promoting the global vision of automated Invoice-to-Pay processes and SAP VIM implementation to maximize non-manual invoice processing.
• Supporting improvement of payment timeliness through technological optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conducting business requirements gathering sessions and identifying gaps between global templates and German legal requirements.
• Reviewing and approving functional specifications including invoice workflows and exception handling.
• Coordinating internal quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proactively identifying and resolving functional, process, and integration risks during configuration and testing.
• Assessing readiness of related upstream and downstream systems and verifying completion of integration testing.
• Preparing and coordinating end-user training materials and managing process documentation.
• Representing the end-user community throughout the system implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinating business readiness activities leading to system Go-Live.
• Supporting hypercare activities post-implementation and managing transition to business-as-usual support teams.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives after system stabilization.
