Expert Application Security Specialist

This position is part of an ongoing project focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM) within a larger program. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders from Business and IT to ensure IAM processes and solutions are adopted and understood. The candidate will join an existing team engaged in stakeholder communication, data gathering, and process support.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Information Security Specialist, Application Owner, or Application Manager preferably in IAM or cybersecurity projects
• Good understanding of applications, transactions, and access management
• Self-driven and motivated with a collaborative mindset
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Engage with stakeholders to align project objectives and initiate efforts
• Collaborate with Business and IT teams through interviews or workshops to identify and document project deliverables
• Conduct quality assurance on documentation to identify gaps
• Analyze access management and violations
• Work with Application and RACF/IAM experts to suggest mitigations
• Facilitate remediation processes for violations
• Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and manage priorities
• Assist in prioritizing efforts and managing scope changes
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
