Project Manager/ka

We are cooperating with a Polish technology company specializing in operating systems, currently preparing for public listing and aiming to build technological sovereignty in Europe in cloud and IoT through the IPCEI CIS EU-supported program.

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in a similar role.
• Ability to enforce milestones with highly specialized R&D engineering teams under high time pressure.
• Practical knowledge of NCBR / KPO procedures and the Competitive Database (procurement, inquiries).
• Strong organizational and task-oriented skills.
• Courage and honesty in communicating problems, including ongoing escalation of difficulties.
• Experience in projects executed in an international environment.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies: Prince2, PMI.
• English at minimum C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Higher technical education (informatics, electronics, telecommunications) and understanding of IT and IoT technologies at a level enabling communication with engineers.
• Knowledge of industry certifications (e.g., DO-178C) and experience cooperating with certification bodies and auditors.
• Genuine interest in space, drones, and aviation topics.
• Experience in IoT / embedded / RTOS sectors.

• Negotiation and coordination of schedules with foreign partners and subcontractors, including environment testing and certifications such as DO-178C.
• Handling formalities with the funding institution (NCBR), including budget changes, contract amendments, and financial and substantive documentation before project closure in October 2026.
• Reporting and project documentation: periodic reports to management and representing the project towards partners, clients, certifying institutions, and auditors.
• Managing risk, budget, and information flow in the project, escalating problems and preparing status reports.
• Enforcing milestone achievement in R&D engineering areas under significant time pressure and identifying delay causes.
• Organizing status meetings and escalating problems continuously.
