System (Data) Analyst

GS Services is looking for a System (Data) Analyst with experience in projects for the manufacturing industry. The role involves working on data integration, data modeling, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

• Experience designing data integration solutions and Data Products.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, validation, and prototyping.
• Experience in data modeling, designing transformations, and managing data quality.
• Knowledge of the ISA-95 standard and data issues in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with experience conducting workshops and collaborating with stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience with MES, SCADA, PI Historian, LIMS, and other manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of Unified Namespace (UNS), OPC UA, and modern data architectures for industry.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and Data Engineering solutions.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing industries.

• Design data products and data flows from systems like MES, PI Historian, SCADA, LIMS, and ERP to corporate data platforms.
• Conduct workshops with business representatives and production teams to define requirements, use cases, and data product specifications.
• Design data models, data transformations, contextualization following the ISA-95 standard, and Source-to-Target mappings.
• Define data schemas, data quality standards, technical and architectural documentation.
• Collaborate with local OT/IT teams on system integration, source data validation, and ensuring reliable data acquisition.
• Support implementation teams and standardize solutions in production environments.
