Senior Oracle Developer

P&P Solutions is a company based in Poland working on advanced IT projects using Oracle technologies, engaging in database solution design and development as well as collaboration with architects on modern data processing systems.

• Minimum 10 years experience programming in PL/SQL.
• Very good knowledge of Oracle databases, including database structure design, performance optimization, and database administration.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON transformations using Oracle Database.
• Experience working with version control system Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing for database procedures (e.g., utPLSQL).
• Ability to work in a team using SCRUM methodology.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Responsibility, independence, and timeliness in task execution.

Nice to have:

• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience in projects implementing database algorithms operating near real-time.
• Experience in projects within the electro-energy sector.

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions in an Oracle environment.
• Collaborate with business and technical architects on system architecture.
• Design database structures and implement business logic using PL/SQL.
• Optimize database performance, SQL queries, and PL/SQL procedures; solve complex technical problems.
• Ensure data consistency, quality, integrity, and compliance with standards.
• Provide technological supervision over applications using Oracle database technologies.
• Design, develop, and oversee unit and automated tests for database solutions.
• Create and maintain technical, project, and as-built documentation.
• Contribute to standards for designing, programming, and documenting database solutions.
• Participate in maintaining, servicing, and developing existing systems.
• Provide substantive support and knowledge sharing about Oracle technologies within the team.
• Work closely with project teams following SCRUM methodology.
