Full Stack Software Engineer

Kuehne+Nagel is a global leader in logistics, providing technology infrastructure that supports worldwide systems and operations including delivery of critical goods such as fresh fruit and time-sensitive healthcare products. The role involves working on the SALOG application that supports Sea/Air Forwarding operations globally.

• Qualification in computer science or a similar field.
• Experience with development tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong expertise in Java and JUnit.
• Knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL technologies.
• Experience in frontend development with Angular is an advantage.
• Ability to find pragmatic and innovative solutions with maximum business value.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving skills and a creative approach.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
• High communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Implement functional and technical components for the Sea/Air Logistics System in a continuous delivery environment.
• Ensure quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software.
• Contribute to the migration from a Java Swing application to an Angular application.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing code during the migration process.
• Conduct development tests, code reviews, and create unit tests.
• Participate throughout the entire development lifecycle from requirements definition to delivery.
• Exchange regularly with the Sea/Air Logistics Team to develop technical and functional solutions for new features and improvements.
• Build user-friendly, efficient solutions for stakeholders and internal customers.
• Analyze and fix system test and production errors related to your team’s expertise.
• Participate in system maintenance, application rollouts, and operations as part of the development support team.
