Senior Java Developer

• Around 4 years of experience as a Java developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience in frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, RxJS)
• Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of build and testing tools (Maven, JUnit)
• Understanding of event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka is a plus)
• Good communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams
• Experience in insurance projects or industry is a strong advantage

• Lead the implementation of frontend and backend features across the full technology stack
• Develop scalable web applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring reliable integration between systems
• Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical leadership within the team
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment stability
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Analyze and resolve complex defects to ensure application stability and security
• Maintain and expand knowledge of the Java ecosystem and best practices with focus on Guidewire
• Continuously develop expertise in Gosu and Guidewire (GW) platform
