Python Developer

Scurri is a highly ambitious Retail Tech company based in Wexford town. It optimizes the ordering, shipping and delivery process for customers and supports the delivery of billions of euros worth of transactions while growing rapidly. The engineering team is rooted in Lean and Agile principles and uses AI to automate routine tasks, maintain high quality through automated CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improve their platform.

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python (FastAPI and Django).
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or LLM-based agents) to improve throughput and code quality.
• Knowledge of Git and experience with advanced branching strategies.
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and understanding of distributed system architecture.

Nice to have:

• Experience in ecommerce and logistics domains.
• Knowledge of React and TypeScript.

• Build and maintain high-performance connectors for third-party APIs and shipping carrier networks using AI-assisted workflows.
• Architect systems capable of handling the high-velocity demands of global retailers.
• Craft modular, "plug-and-play" software architectures.
