Pre-Sales Solution Architect - Data & AI

• 8+ years in solution architecture, data architecture, or pre-sales, with at least 4 years designing enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with at least two of Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric including workload sizing, cost modeling, and migration.
• Experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions using cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proven design experience with batch and streaming pipelines leveraging tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, Flink.
• Working knowledge of lakehouse and data mesh principles; open table formats like Delta, Iceberg, Hudi.
• Practical experience designing AI/ML and GenAI data foundations including feature stores, vector databases, RAG pipelines, embedding strategies, and MLOps integrations.
• Ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise-grade solutions.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, business teams, and cloud channel partners.
• Skilled in requirements gathering, RFP/RFI responses, and delivering technical presentations to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex technical concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for client engagement and workshops.

• Lead data-centric technical discovery focused on data estates, source systems, latency, quality requirements, analytics maturity, and AI readiness.
• Design modern data platforms using reference architectures on platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric, incorporating lakehouse, medallion, data mesh, and event-driven patterns.
• Architect AI-related components including feature stores, vector stores, retrieval pipelines, and ML/LLM data foundations for GenAI and predictive use cases.
• Build credible proofs of concept around data migration, real-time pipelines, governed self-service analytics, and RAG/agentic patterns.
• Lead RFx responses, statements of work, and proposals, including sizing, sequencing, and risk framing for multi-phase modernization programs.
• Present at executive briefings, architecture deep dives, and solution workshops to earn trust with data leaders and engineering audiences.
• Embed data governance, lineage, quality, and privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2) as first-class design constraints.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across pre-sales and data practice, partnering with delivery leads.
