Senior Platform Engineer

• Ability to design scalable and highly-available cloud architecture across Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Experience running and operating software in production at scale
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines enabling frequent releases
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Cloud-native approach to architecture and deployment
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Coding experience in multiple languages such as TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, and Bash
• Experience setting up monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Azure Insights, and Kibana
• Infrastructure as Code and automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
• Experience with API Gateways
• Understanding of cloud and network security principles
• Effective technical documentation skills
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based software architecture and solutions
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Build and maintain core platform components (SSO, Access Management, clusters, networking, CI/CD, observability)
• Own Terraform modules, baseline configurations, and guardrails for distributed teams
• Design and evolve platform “golden paths” with secure defaults, templates, and standards
• Maintain platform IaC including Terraform modules, state design, and multi-account governance
• Integrate with team-owned CDK stacks through stable platform contracts
• Lead evolution of platform abstraction layers and service catalogs
• Design and manage multi-account AWS landing zone (Organizations, Service Control Policies, permissions boundaries)
• Own developer onboarding patterns including IAM SSO access, automation, and pipelines
• Build safe cross-account deployment workflows using GitHub OIDC and least privilege principles
• Design and operate ECS and EKS clusters serving hundreds of services
• Establish best practices for container execution, networking, and autoscaling
• Manage central networking components (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53)
• Ensure secure east–west communication between workloads in different accounts
• Provide self-service tools and templates for teams including pipelines, service definitions, and actions
• Abstract platform complexity to enable fast and safe deployments
• Own documentation, workshops, patterns, and architectural guidance
• Operate and evolve platform-wide logging, metrics, and tracing systems
• Ensure operational standards for platform components
