Cybersecurity Engineer (Microsoft E5 Security Specialist)

LinkGroup is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise security using the Microsoft 365 E5 Security suite.

• Hands-on experience as a Cyber/Security Engineer with focus on cloud security.
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Security E5 stack, including Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and related Defender components.
• Solid understanding of threat landscapes and email security protocols (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root-cause analysis on security incidents.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certifications such as SC-200, SC-400, MS-500, or SC-100.

• Architect, configure, and maintain the Microsoft 365 E5 Security ecosystem.
• Utilize Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Endpoint to detect and remediate threats.
• Implement Microsoft Purview for data classification, protection, and compliance policies.
• Configure Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and privileged access management following Zero Trust principles.
• Tune security alerts, reduce false positives, and automate incident response.
• Collaborate with IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and compliance teams to align security controls.
