Senior Python/GIS Engineer

Our client is a leading player in the eCommerce industry.

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in backend software development using Python and SQL.
• Experience or strong understanding of logistics domain, network analysis, and routing (e.g., graph theory, road network modeling, Vehicle Routing Problems).
• Experience with geospatial data concepts via code (e.g., H3/spatial indexing, clustering algorithms, PostGIS).
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Google Cloud Platform preferred) and modern infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow).
• Advocate for engineering excellence including clean code, TDD, CI/CD, and rigorous code reviews.
• Ability to design and scale microservices-based architecture.
• Knowledge of Polish (native level) and English (B2+ level).
• Positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and higher technical education (Computer Science or related fields).

• Support design and scaling of high-throughput services that power first and last-mile operations.
• Leverage network analysis and spatial optimization to enhance logistics efficiency.
