Delivery Manager / Portfolio Manager

Miquido is hiring a Delivery Manager to manage a portfolio of IT projects, lead teams of up to 50 people, and maintain client relationships including contractual management and renewals.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management
• Experience managing teams of at least 25 people
• Knowledge of pricing models, project P&L, margin, utilization, and forecasting
• Proficiency working with enterprise clients including pre-sales, presentations, and negotiations
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and others)
• Proven track record of successful project delivery, including fixed-price projects
• Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders including C-level and VP-level executives
• Ability to mentor and develop Project Managers and Team Leads with leadership and soft-skills coaching
• Strong negotiation and communication skills at management level
• English proficiency at minimum C1 level
• Ability to lead strategic discussions on delivery roadmaps, operating models, risks, constraints, and technology direction

Nice to have:

• Certifications such as PMBoK, Prince2, Agile, or risk management
• Based in Kraków or surrounding area or open to occasional travel for in-person meetings

• Managing an assigned portfolio of projects
• Monitoring portfolio and project status, preventing escalations and identifying issues early
• Ensuring consistency, efficiency, and profitability across the portfolio with risk management
• Reporting portfolio results to the Head of Delivery
• Overseeing and mentoring Project Managers and Team Leads focusing on leadership and soft skills
• Building and maintaining relationships with client executives (CxO/VP/Director)
• Leading renewals and contract extensions, managing contractual aspects (SOWs, purchase orders)
• Driving portfolio growth via upsell/cross-sell opportunities and participating in pre-sales
• Calculating profitability (P&L) for offers and reviewing delivery feasibility
• Implementing and improving delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and others) and AI-driven improvements
• Collaborating with Resource Management on team allocation, resource planning, and workforce strategy
• Contributing to company-wide delivery and leadership initiatives promoting best practices
• Directly managing projects in exceptional situations (e.g., covering for Project Manager leave)
