Unix/Linux Administrator (Linux/RHEL/AIX)

For our Client from the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Unix/Linux Administrator to join the Infrastructure Operations team. You will administer and maintain enterprise Linux and Unix environments supporting critical banking systems, ensuring high availability, system performance, security, and operational stability. This role involves working closely with infrastructure and application teams in a large enterprise environment with modern infrastructure.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a Linux/Unix Administrator in enterprise environments (1000+ users).
• Very good knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) administration.
• Experience with high-availability enterprise server environments.
• Practical experience with virtualization technologies.
• Good Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with operating system patch management.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience in troubleshooting Linux/Unix infrastructure issues.
• Native Polish and advanced English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Red Hat, IBM AIX or other Unix/Linux certifications.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure automation.
• Higher education in Computer Science, IT or related technical field.

• Administer, configure and maintain Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, AIX).
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of server infrastructure.
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Manage operating system patching and patch management activities.
• Configure and maintain virtualization environments.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell scripting.
• Support IP-based network services and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance windows, and infrastructure improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
