Java Developer

Pointpack develops IT systems integrating courier companies, e-shops, cash register systems, payment terminals, and parcel lockers. Their partners include Poczta Polska, DPD, and GLS, enabling package pick-ups at nearly 20,000 points across Poland such as Żabka, Lidl, and Kaufland. The company aims to reduce logistics carbon footprint by optimizing delivery routes.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with Java
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Knowledge of message brokers – Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Amazon AWS services and deployments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Understanding of Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns
• Communicative proficiency in Polish
• Acceptance of 7-day on-site onboarding in Poznań or Warsaw

Nice to have:

• Experience with KurrentDB (EventStoreDB)
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems patterns
• Experience migrating enterprise monoliths to microservices
• Use of AI tools in development work

• Design and develop backend applications and APIs
• Build and maintain services based on Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Work with Event Sourcing and CQRS architecture (using KurrentDB and Kafka)
• Collaborate with the team in Agile / Scrum environment
• Participate in code reviews and ensure technical quality
• Collaborate in architecture design and technical decision making
