Senior Software Engineer Scala & Python

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Fluent in Polish (advanced) and English at B2/C1 level.
• Proven production-grade experience with both Scala and Python, able to maintain dual-language codebases.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, automated testing, code reviews, and version control.

Nice to have:

• Commercial experience integrating LLM, generative AI APIs, or speech-to-text/transcription workflows.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of ElasticSearch for scalable data querying.
• Basic understanding or experience with PHP applications.
• Experience building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS products.

• Developing, maintaining, and extending backend services using both Scala and Python.
• Designing and implementing production-ready features powered by Generative AI, integrating external and internal AI platform APIs, LLM providers, and transcription services.
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Designing reliable REST APIs and integrations between platform services and third-party systems.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code while supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance and costs of AI workloads, and improving platform stability.
