QA Automation Engineer (she/he/they)

Green Hive Technology is a software house within the Żabka Group, developing digital solutions supporting one of the largest convenience ecosystems in Poland. Projects include development of the Żappka application, data science initiatives supporting franchisees, generative artificial intelligence (genAI) solutions, and other innovative digital products.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation testing of desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of TestFX, Cucumber, Gherkin, Mockito, and JUnit.
• Experience with backend/integration testing using Spring Boot.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture (events, commands).
• Ability to use Spring Test (e.g., @SpringBootTest).
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as REST Assured and Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with containers (Docker).
• Skills in creating and maintaining stable automated tests and managing test quality.
• Ability to create non-functional tests (performance, accessibility, visual regression).
• Knowledge of analyzing test results and product quality reporting.
• Experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using TestFX, Cucumber, REST Assured, Mockito, and JUnit for desktop applications.
• Create, implement, and manage automated functional, BDD, regression, integration, and UI tests in JavaFX, including end-to-end tests covering key scenarios.
• Prepare test plans, analyze test cases, and automate them within sprints.
• Monitor test results, analyze errors, fix tests in non-production environments, and report product quality.
• Maintain high quality of automated tests and periodically check test case coverage.
• Participate in implementation of non-functional tests: accessibility, visual regression, and performance.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation practices.
