Legal Counsel

• Approximately 2–5 years of post-qualification or equivalent experience in general commercial and contract law, including experience reviewing and drafting commercial agreements with procurement and supplier-facing technology contracts.
• Experience supporting alliance and partner contracts, procurement agreements, NDAs, client contracts focused on IT procurement, software, resale, SaaS/cloud, IT services, subcontracting, outsourcing, professional services, and supply arrangements.
• Advantageous experience in supplier RFPs, procurement processes, or negotiations with technology vendors, subcontractors, resellers, or suppliers.
• Ability to carefully review contracts, identify key legal and commercial issues, and escalate as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and accuracy with templates, mark-ups, and contract amendments.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills to manage varied workloads and deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with willingness to work closely with senior lawyers and team members across geographies.
• Commercial awareness and practical support for business procurement and contractual matters.
• Confidence working in an offshore support model across locations and time zones.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, legal technology, or AI tools supporting contract review and legal services.

• Supporting the review, drafting, and negotiation of alliance and partner contracts, procurement agreements, reseller and software-related agreements, SaaS and cloud services agreements, IT services agreements, subcontracting, outsourcing, professional services agreements, supply contracts, NDAs, and selected client contracts using approved templates and playbooks.
• Supporting procurement and business stakeholders on supplier RFPs, sourcing processes, and supplier negotiations by reviewing supplier terms, identifying legal and commercial risks, and aligning contracts with internal policies.
• Assisting senior lawyers on complex client and commercial contracting matters, including preparing drafts, reviewing terms, identifying risks, and escalating issues.
• Providing day-to-day legal support on standard and lower-risk contractual queries in a timely and practical manner.
• Supporting the contract lifecycle process including document preparation, amendment tracking, version control, and coordination of reviews and approvals.
• Ensuring contracts comply with internal policies, legal guidance, and contracting principles.
• Collaborating with senior lawyers and business teams across locations and time zones, including offshore support.
• Supporting knowledge sharing, template updates, and continuous improvement within the legal team.

Additional responsibilities:

• Providing legal sign-off on deals, developing and presenting legal training courses, policy drafting, assisting with dispute resolution, and working on global legal initiatives including international transactions.
