Specjalista ds. Monitoringu i Observability/Grafana

BIOSECO develops bird protection systems for wind farms and airports, combining R&D, engineering, IT, IoT, data analysis, production, service, and natural science knowledge. The product is developed in Gdańsk and operates globally. The technology must work reliably in real conditions, requiring monitoring that provides clear insights into infrastructure, applications, and distributed system environments.

• Practical knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Zabbix.
• Knowledge of time series databases such as InfluxDB, VictoriaMetrics, or similar.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources.
• Skills in building dashboards, alerts, and data aggregation solutions.
• Knowledge of PromQL, InfluxQL, Flux, or SQL.
• Scripting abilities in Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Knowledge of REST API.
• Experience with Docker in starting, configuring, and maintaining services.
• Problem analysis, prioritization, and effective communication with technical teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, collectors, and exporters.
• Familiarity with tools like KeepHQ, Grafana IRM, Alerta, PagerDuty, Opsgenie.
• Experience creating custom exporters, connectors, scripts, or custom data sources.
• Experience integrating Zabbix with other systems.
• Knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of C programming.

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of monitoring tools.
• Administration of solutions: Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Zabbix, and time series databases.
• Integration of data from multiple sources: external systems, databases, custom data sources, and monitoring tools.
• Creating dashboards in Grafana for technical, operational, and business teams.
• Building and optimizing alerts, alarm rules, escalation processes, and notification logic.
• Analyzing metrics, logs, and events to detect failures, anomalies, and performance issues.
• Developing observability solutions based on OpenTelemetry or similar standards.
• Automating and standardizing monitoring processes.
• Collaborating with technical teams, support, vendors, and stakeholders.
