Software Asset Manager

• Strong practical understanding of enterprise software licensing models and contracts, heavily emphasizing IBM products.
• Proven hands-on experience with IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT), ServiceNow SAM Pro, and Flexera.
• Solid background in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM) in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical skills to process large volumes of discovery and entitlement data for accurate compliance modeling.
• Fluent in English for leading technical discussions, reporting findings, and negotiating with international teams and vendors.
• Availability to work the required 12:00 – 20:00 CET shift.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in Banking, FinTech, or highly regulated financial services industry.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as IAITAM (e.g., CSAM) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Software Asset Management.

• Manage complex software entitlements, compliance, and usage with deep expertise in interpreting IBM licensing terms (e.g., Passport Advantage, sub-capacity models).
• Hands-on administration and utilization of ILMT, ServiceNow SAM Pro, and Flexera to maintain accurate software inventory and generate compliance reports.
• Analyze reconciliation reports to determine effective license positions, address non-compliance, and defend against third-party vendor audits.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and vendor management to process software requests, harvest underutilized licenses, and drive cost savings.
• Develop and implement Software Asset Management policies, workflows, and standards tailored to strict financial sector requirements.
