SQL Server Migration Specialist

The company operates in the banking industry and is seeking a specialist for SQL Server migration projects relevant to strategic database platforms.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
• Proven track record of delivering SQL Server migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
• Experience with SQL Server performance tuning.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations.
• Experience coordinating complex technical initiatives.
• Good understanding of IT governance, change management, and risk management.
• Practical experience with T-SQL.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

• Provision and migrate standalone SQL Server environments to resilient Hotel solutions.
• Lead end-to-end migration activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and support.
• Act as the primary technical coordinator between application and infrastructure teams.
• Configure, administer, and support Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Design and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions based on Always On Availability Groups.
• Perform SQL Server performance analysis and optimization.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing activities.
• Ensure migration activities align with governance and risk management processes.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell where appropriate.
