Java Developer/Developerka

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience with Java (including Java 21+)
• At least 8 years experience with Spring Boot and JPA
• Proven experience with Maven for dependency and build management
• Familiarity with Liquibase for database versioning
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and integrations
• Communicative English language skills for daily cooperation with business and team

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cucumber for BDD testing
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Experience in greenfield projects and close collaboration with business teams

• Design and develop a scalable backend platform using Java and Spring Boot
• Integrate with external systems through REST API and Kafka event streaming
• Implement and maintain persistence layer based on JPA
• Version database schema changes using Liquibase
• Collaborate with Business SMEs and Product Owner to refine requirements and design solutions
• Co-create architecture and make key technical decisions for the new system
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance code productivity and quality
