Senior Solution Architect (PHP)

Company: Moondigo Sp. z o.o. The role involves working on a strategic transformation project for a global financial sector organization, focusing on a key integration platform used by banking institutions.

• Minimum 7–8 years of IT experience including roles as Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Developer.
• Experience designing and documenting architectures based on REST API and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of backend application architecture using PHP 8+, Symfony, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with applications using Doctrine ORM, API Platform, and asynchronous communication via RabbitMQ.
• Practical knowledge of containerized application architecture with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Ability to produce structured technical and architectural documentation and define design standards.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Kibana.
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong teamwork skills with developers and business stakeholders.
• Very good command of the English language.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial or banking sector projects.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture with Angular, NgRx, and Angular Material.
• Experience with microservices and API Management platforms.
• Familiarity with Sentry, Playwright, Jest, and PHPUnit.
• Experience leading transformation projects and legacy environment modernization.

• Analyze existing platform architecture and understand current API and system integrations.
• Design solution architectures to support platform transformation.
• Create and organize architectural and technical documentation.
• Define architectural standards, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and technology partners.
• Identify optimization areas and recommend new solutions.
• Support migration and modernization of the existing platform.
