Cybersecurity Administrator (m/f/n)

The project involves supporting cybersecurity administration for an EU institution in Warsaw, focusing on maintaining operational security systems and implementing new platforms or expanding current platform capabilities.

• At least 8 years of professional IT experience
• Minimum 5 years in a security administrator or similar role
• Higher degree diploma (bachelor or engineer)
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Knowledge of systems development life cycle, OS security, and computer networks security
• Understanding of security controls, offensive and defensive security, secure coding
• Familiarity with system vulnerabilities, penetration testing, remediation, and risk analysis
• Knowledge of ISO 27000 standards and SANS CIS critical security controls
• Knowledge of OWASP standards
• Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, PKI/CA
• Practical experience designing and performing security tests
• Experience managing security functions with Identity and Access Management solutions
• Experience in systems deployment and integration
• Knowledge of Tiering model
• Experience in system maintenance, support, and administration
• Experience with IR tools (XDR, SIEM, NDR)
• Proficiency in writing PoC/TDD documentation
• Experience reviewing security controls and recommending improvements
• Experience writing security policies focused on information protection and data privacy
• At least three relevant recognized certifications (e.g., GCED, GPPA, GCCWN, GCUX, GCCC, SSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, GSEC, ECSA, SCPO) or equivalent

• Provide cybersecurity support to users and customers
• Integrate cybersecurity solutions and ensure operational stability
• Securely configure systems, services, and products
• Maintain and upgrade security for systems, services, and products
• Implement cybersecurity procedures and controls
• Monitor cybersecurity control performance
• Document and report on system security
• Apply and manage security patches for vulnerabilities
• Support security technologies such as user access, internet filtering, antivirus, and cloud security
• Participate in information security reviews and audits
• Update technical documentation and operating procedures
• Monitor security systems and respond to events and alerts
• Recommend improvements in security tools
• Implement security changes according to ICT change management procedures
• Design, install, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot cybersecurity infrastructure
• Provide guidance and documented security configurations for tool implementation
• Evaluate and recommend secure configurations
• Translate security requirements into technical specifications
• Support stakeholders in specifying and negotiating security needs
• Collaborate with network and system engineering teams
• Draft documentation and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to design and implementation of new components and enhancements
• Ensure service continuity to meet SLAs
• Investigate and resolve cybersecurity system issues
• Document cyber defense component configurations

Candidate must be an EU citizen and must work from Poland.
