Product Owner / Krakow

DCV Technologies is looking for a Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of innovative data products and analytics solutions in Kraków, Poland. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define product roadmaps and support data capabilities adoption.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, or similar product leadership role.
• Strong understanding of data products, analytics solutions, and modern data ecosystems.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear product goals and delivery outcomes.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate business value, risks, and technical trade-offs.
• Familiarity with data governance, compliance processes, and enterprise data management principles.
• Experience with tools like GitLab, Jira, or similar backlog management platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with event-driven architectures, data streaming, or modern data platforms.
• Background in analytics, AI/ML, or enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

• Co-develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products and analytics solutions.
• Define, manage, and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with business goals and product strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Crews and Pods to build and maintain roadmaps for data product adoption and development.
• Support business teams with expertise and frameworks to drive adoption of data products.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, including the Federal Book of Work and product documentation.
• Evaluate new business use cases by assessing business value, feasibility, cost, and scalability.
• Influence solution design decisions to ensure products deliver stakeholder value.
• Maintain high-quality pod and iteration backlogs in GitLab with clear priorities.
• Support data sourcing activities ensuring alignment with policies, compliance, and governance.
• Coordinate and obtain governance approvals for new data use cases.
• Stay updated with trends in data platforms, event-driven architectures, analytics, and data product development.
• Bring market insights and best practices to improve data offerings.
• Remove delivery blockers and manage dependencies across teams.
• Act as a product ambassador building strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
