Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python)

• Proven commercial experience as a Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineer with active hands-on coding
• Strong proficiency in modern Python, focusing on clean, type-safe, well-documented code
• Solid experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Django and understanding of web app architecture
• Expertise in relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), SQL, and schema design
• Strong security mindset with ability to identify and mitigate web vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, Claude and critical review of AI-generated code
• Experience with containerization tools Docker and Kubernetes, and background processing systems such as Redis, Celery
• Excellent independent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex codebases

Nice to have:

• Experience decomposing monolithic/legacy codebases into clean layered architecture
• Hands-on modernization of mature, production-grade SaaS products
• Familiarity with Python ORMs like SQLObject, SQLAlchemy

• Build new platform modules end-to-end: translate business requirements into technical specs (use cases, data models, API designs) through to production deployment
• Execute modernization of the Python/Flask codebase, including cleaning layered architecture, reducing technical debt, and improving testability
• Serve as quality gate for AI-generated code, catching logic errors, security issues, and architectural violations
• Partner with the Intelligence Systems Engineer on AI/agent layer features
• Collaborate with the Angular Architect on API contracts and frontend integration
• Write operational documentation: changelogs for QA, operations guides for DevOps, architecture docs for developers
• Proactively identify and address security concerns during development
