VMware, Linux/Windows Administrator

• Deep knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and critical infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware administration including installation, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting.
• Coordination of hardware maintenance and collaboration with OEM vendors and onsite Smart Hands teams.
• Management of virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, and Network.
• Overall datacenter management.
• Monitoring server health and supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) configurations.
• Configure and support VMware High Availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS).
• Patch ESXi hosts and upgrade vCenter and VMware components.
• Windows administration skills.
• Linux skills including Red Hat Satellite and Ansible.
• Storage and file system management including LVM administration and disk management.
• Ensuring compliance, policy adherence, risk, and operational governance.
• Ability to automate and optimize enterprise operations through automation, migration, governance, and cost optimization.
• Design automation workflows, API integrations, and rule-based orchestration.
• Implement data, license, and risk workflows using governance and compliance platforms.
• Collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams.
• Own reporting automation, dashboards, inventory updates, and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assist in audits.
• Proficient in English and a native language (German / Polish / French, etc.).
