Senior Software Engineer (Scala & Python)

Dawid Wierciak Flow to Grow is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for an international team developing modern backend solutions and AI-based functionalities.

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong production experience with Scala.
• Good knowledge of Python and backend development.
• Experience designing and developing backend services.
• Very good understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with automated testing, version control, code review, and CI/CD.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable architecture.
• Independence in analyzing and solving complex technical problems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in an international team.
• Advanced knowledge of Polish language.
• B2 level knowledge of English.

• Create, maintain, and develop backend services in Scala and Python.
• Design scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop new product features including AI-based solutions.
• Integrate systems with external services via API.
• Write clean, testable production code.
• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews.
• Ensure quality, scalability, performance, and security of solutions.
• Support and develop CI/CD processes.
• Analyze and solve production environment issues.
• Collaborate within an international team.
