Cybersecurity Administrator (m/f/n)

The role is for a Cybersecurity Administrator to work on a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw, providing ongoing engineering and cybersecurity administration support to keep existing systems updated and operational as well as supporting new platform implementations and expansions.

• Minimum 8 years professional experience in IT
• Minimum 5 years project experience relevant to the profile or similar position
• Higher degree diploma (bachelor or engineer)
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Knowledge of systems development life cycle, operating systems security, and computer networks security
• Knowledge of security controls, offensive and defensive security, and secure coding practices
• Understanding of system security vulnerabilities, threats, exploit mechanisms, penetration testing, remediation, and risk analysis methodologies
• Knowledge of ISO 27000 family standards and SANS CIS critical security controls
• Knowledge of OWASP family standards
• Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, PKI/CA
• Practical experience in designing and performing security tests
• Experience managing security functions within Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Experience in systems deployment and integrations
• Knowledge of Tiering model
• Experience in maintenance, support, and administration of systems
• Experience with Incident Response (IR) tools such as XDR, SIEM, NDR
• Proficient in writing Proof of Concept (PoC) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) documentation
• Experience reviewing security controls and proposing improvements
• Experience writing security procedures/policies emphasizing information protection and data privacy
• Required certifications (at least 3 among or equivalent internationally recognized): GCED, GPPA, GCCWN, GCUX, GCCC, SSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, GSEC, ECSA, SCPO

• Provide cybersecurity support to users and customers
• Integrate cybersecurity solutions and ensure their operation
• Securely configure systems, services, and products
• Maintain and upgrade security of systems, services, and products
• Implement cybersecurity procedures and controls
• Monitor performance of implemented cybersecurity controls
• Document and report on security aspects of systems, services, and products
• Manage patches to address technical vulnerabilities
• Support security-related IT system design and implementation
• Assist in supporting security technologies including user access, email security, antivirus, data loss protection, forensics, vulnerability assessments, and cloud security
• Participate in security reviews and audits
• Update technical documentation and operating procedures
• Monitor security systems and respond to events and alerts
• Recommend and evaluate security tools
• Implement security-related changes per change management procedures
• Design, install, configure, test, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade cybersecurity infrastructure
• Provide expertise, guidance, and documented security configurations
• Evaluate and recommend secure configurations
• Identify and translate security requirements
• Support specification and negotiation of security requirements with stakeholders
• Communicate and develop security solutions with network and system engineering teams
• Draft documentation and operational procedures for security systems
• Contribute to technical design and implementation of new components and enhancements
• Ensure service continuity as per SLAs
• Investigate, diagnose, and solve cybersecurity system problems
• Document cyber defense component configurations

The candidate must be an EU citizen and must be working from Poland.
