Characters/Animation Manager

Anshar Studios is a company in the game development industry, involved in projects related to animation and character art.

• Proven management experience of at least 3 years in a game development environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop professionals.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Charismatic, responsible, and engaged work approach.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of animation or character art processes and game development pipelines.
• Experience with teamwork organizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.
• Up-to-date with trends and technologies in game development.
• Fluent in Polish and C1 level in English.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with specialists to support their professional growth, address concerns, and provide coaching.
• Plan, track, and support career development paths including identifying training needs and performance issues.
• Foster a healthy, inclusive work environment by addressing and resolving interpersonal or work-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department to shape the vision and strategic direction for Animation and/or Character Art.
• Coordinate with project leads for efficient resource distribution and support delivery of game features.
• Identify and implement workflow and process improvements based on gaming industry best practices.
