IT Operations & Infrastructure Lead

Ajaia is a rapidly growing AI consultancy and product studio operating across four core pillars: AI Strategy and Advisory, AI Engineering and Automation, Workforce Training and Enablement, and Custom Product Development. The company builds proprietary AI products, copilots, and vertical solutions to solve high-value industry problems, combining deep technical execution with practical change management to enable enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and high-impact AI solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4–7 years experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, systems administration, cloud administration, or internal IT support for distributed teams
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure
• Experience administering Google Workspace at the organizational level
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, compute resources, and cost optimization in cloud platforms
• Experience with endpoint management (MDM), device provisioning, and remote-work infrastructure
• Ability to manage IT vendor relationships and procurement
• Experience building and maintaining IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases
• Understanding of security fundamentals including access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC), encryption, and monitoring
• Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 infrastructure requirements
• Comfortable working autonomously and communicating with non-technical teams
• Proficiency with AI tools in daily work

Preferred requirements:

• Certifications like Google Cloud Professional, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
• Scripting ability for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Background supporting distributed, remote-first teams across multiple countries and time zones
• Experience managing container orchestration (Kubernetes, Cloud Run)
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services
• Experience in small or mid-size companies with broad IT ownership

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including cloud environments on GCP and Azure
• Administer internal tools and handle device management for a distributed international team
• Configure, troubleshoot, document, and automate infrastructure and IT processes
• Ensure security and compliance with standards like HIPAA and SOC 2
• Maintain reliable, scalable, and well-managed company infrastructure
