IT Security Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 4–7 years of experience in IT operations and systems administration, IT security, cloud administration and security (GCP, Azure, or multi-cloud), compliance support and audit preparation (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar frameworks)
• Hands-on experience administering and securing cloud platforms (GCP and Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance requirements
• Experience managing identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC) and endpoint security policies
• Experience with Google Workspace administration
• Ability to manage vendor relationships
• Comfortable working independently and communicating with non-technical teams
• Proficiency with AI tools in daily workflow

Preferred Requirements:

• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISM, CCSP or equivalent
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD security, or DevOps tooling
• Scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar)
• Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services
• Experience with GDPR or other data protection regulations
• Experience with endpoint management (MDM) and device policies
• Experience with security monitoring, alerting, or SIEM tools
• Experience managing IT operations in remote or distributed environments

• Manage internal IT systems and enforce security policies
• Maintain compliance programs including audit preparation and evidence collection
• Drive automation across multi-cloud environments (GCP and Azure)
• Configure systems, manage access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC), and run security audits
• Manage vendor relationships for IT and security services
• Use AI tools to automate processes, improve monitoring, and accelerate workflows
