Senior Backend Developer GO

Cubbit is building the world's first geo-distributed cloud enabler that allows companies to become cloud providers on their own, leveraging any hardware as a node of a virtualised cloud storage platform. Their technology ensures full digital sovereignty, minimal complexity, and high data durability by encrypting, fragmenting, and replicating data across multiple locations within a single country.

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Go (Golang) programming
• Understanding of cloud services
• Experience with Git
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (sockets, HTTP, APIs)
• Experience with AI-based and agentic development tools

Nice to have:

• Experience in startups or similar industries
• Experience with remote work and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kubernetes operators
• Familiarity with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, application tracing
• Experience with Rust

• Develop software for existing and new products
• Review teammates' code and discuss changes constructively
• Transform technical requirements into tasks
• Analyze application tracing to identify bottlenecks and issues
