Lead Producer

Played With Fire is a game studio specializing in system-driven, interactive, story-rich games inspired by science, physics, and imagination. The studio has expertise in VR game design, demonstrated by projects like Star Trek: Infection, and is expanding to produce ambitious PC and console games. The Lead Producer position involves comprehensive project leadership from strategic planning to execution in collaboration with publishers and external partners.

• Minimum 5 years of game production experience, including at least 2 years in senior/lead roles
• Documented experience leading at least one commercial project from production to release
• Experience managing multi-department teams with strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience working with publishers or external partners
• Strong knowledge of the game production cycle from pre-production to live support
• Budget and resource management skills
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Notion, ClickUp, or Asana
• Very good English language skills (minimum B2/C1) for international collaboration

Nice to have:

• Experience with productions based on known IP
• Background in design or technical roles
• Experience scaling production teams
• Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum)

• Defining and enforcing the production strategy for the project
• Creating and supervising schedules, roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans
• Managing milestones and ensuring their timely completion
• Coordinating work among teams (design, art, programming, QA, outsourcing) and internal communication
• Collaborating with publishers and external partners including reporting, planning, and negotiations
• Identifying project risks and responding accordingly
• Improving production processes and building scalable structures
• Mentoring and supporting Producers and Leads within the team
