Cyber Security Engineer, Lead

The Plant Operations Offshore team supports global service business providing technical knowledge, troubleshooting for SCADA and power plant control systems, and cybersecurity for offshore wind farms. • Solid experience in Cisco equipment, minimum CCNA level
• Experience with industrial routers and switches from other vendors
• Familiarity with cyber security standards and regulations IEC62443, NIS-2, KRITIS-V
• Knowledge in virtualization and experience in debugging techniques
• Experience with industrial electrical systems
• Basic industrial protocol knowledge (MODBUS, IEC104, OPC) is beneficial
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux is beneficial
• Professional English skills, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and in international teams
• Strong analytical mindset and systematic problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills to convey technical updates to a large organization and customers
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work shifts between 06:00 - 18:00 CET
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport

• Provide Cyber Security support and expertise for offshore SCADA, network, and industrial control systems
• Act as an internal cybersecurity consultant for OT network and security related matters
• Support technicians and local service organizations with secure remote access, firewall rules, user management, and network hardening
• Provide on-call support during weekends as part of a rotation
• Participate in the Hotline setup to provide real-time remote support to site technicians
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT Security, and 3rd level support on security improvements
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, or ticketing systems ensuring knowledge transfer
• Deliver commissioning support on new projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring secure and effective integration of systems from initial setup through operational handover

You will work from one of Vestas' offices in Poland with partial remote work possibility. Occasional travel up to 20% and shift work between 06:00 - 18:00 CET may be required.
