IT Solution Architect

DAGMA Sp. z o. o. is an IT security expert company with nearly 40 years of experience. They distribute IT security solutions, provide consulting, implementation, and training related to information security and IT systems. They also conduct IT security audits and penetration tests. In their Katowice office, they employ nearly 200 people and continue to grow.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with MS SQL Server databases in production environments.
• Very good knowledge of MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience optimizing queries and analyzing execution plans.
• Practical knowledge of stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience diagnosing performance issues using DMV, Profiler, Extended Events.
• Ability to identify locks, deadlocks, and performance issues.
• Experience working with existing systems and analyzing their logic.
• Knowledge of data integration concepts such as ETL, API, SSIS, CDC or similar.
• Ability to evaluate the impact of changes on live systems and their surroundings.
• Good work organization, independence, and communication skills.
• English language proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience migrating legacy systems to web solutions.
• Experience with database monitoring tools like SolarWinds DPA, Redgate SQL Monitor.
• Interest in applying AI for database analysis or optimization.
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of REST API, CQRS, or materialized views.

• Analyze and optimize performance of the CRM database.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to database architecture and logic.
• Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, functions, and indexes.
• Reverse-engineer MS Access applications and map interfaces to the data layer.
• Document business logic and data flows.
• Implement changes in the live system while maintaining user continuity.
• Analyze impact of changes on integrations with other systems.
• Collaborate on developing the new web version of the CRM.
