Senior Java Developer

Scalo is involved in the development of a cloud ERP platform for project management in the welding industry for a global leader. The project uses technologies such as Java, WildFly, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, ORM, RabbitMQ, event-driven architecture, Docker, containers, virtual machines, and AWS Kiro.

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java and WildFly
• Practical experience with ORM (e.g., Hibernate)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database
• Knowledge of Docker, containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure topics
• Ability to efficiently use AI coding assistants in daily work and share best practices with the team
• Nice to have: experience with RabbitMQ, messaging, event-driven architecture, and streaming
• Nice to have: experience in projects for industry, manufacturing, or industrial systems
• Proficient English communication skills (minimum B2 level)
• Proactive, independent, and collaborative attitude

• Develop and maintain backend applications based on Java and WildFly
• Design and develop solutions using ORM and relational databases
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database
• Develop solutions based on event-driven architecture and messaging
• Collaborate on the development of container environments and infrastructure
• Use AI coding assistants (AWS Kiro) to accelerate development and support AI-assisted best practices
• Collaborate with an international project team
