Product Owner/Presales Support (Freelancer)

Fabres operates custom software projects focusing on clients from discovery through delivery, involving international projects with small teams.

• 4–5+ years as a Product Owner with focus on business and technical aspects
• Experience in e-commerce or electromobility projects
• Understanding of software development, system design, databases, microservices architecture, and API integrations
• Proven client communication skills
• Highly developed soft skills: active listening, storytelling, relationship building
• Ability to understand business needs and translate into product solutions
• Confident in leading presentations and workshops
• Experience writing user stories and managing product backlog
• Experience with freelance or multi-project environments
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence
• English at C1 level for international meetings

Nice to have:

• PSPO, CSPO or similar certification

• Participating in late-stage client meetings and discovery sessions to uncover real needs, constraints, and business goals
• Translating client requirements and business context into a clear product vision, scope, and prioritized backlog
• Defining and maintaining user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to a high standard
• Prioritizing the backlog in collaboration with stakeholders balancing business value, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity
• Owning the product roadmap and communicating it clearly to technical teams and business stakeholders
• Facilitating agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospectives
• Acting as primary contact between development team and client throughout delivery
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and scope changes early and managing them proactively
• Ensuring delivered features meet acceptance criteria and solve the business problem
