Windows Automation Engineer

At Motorola Solutions, our technologies support public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide. Our ASTRO 25 communication network is the mission-critical lifeline that first responders rely on. We are seeking engineers to join our Windows Platform Team to build computing platforms that keep these systems running.

• Administration, deployment, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of programming/scripting concepts such as variables, control structures, loops, and error handling.
• Familiarity with any scripting language including Python, Bash, C#, with support provided to master PowerShell.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and TLS/PKI concepts.

• Developing and maintaining software solutions for the automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems.
• Designing and implementing automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical communication networks.
• Writing clean, scalable scripts to enable efficient, hands-off system management.
• Collaborating in an agile, global environment to make infrastructure deployment effortless, secure, and reliable.
