Test Specialist (SharePoint) (m/f/n)

The project is for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw. The candidate will join a Digital Services team ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of business-critical applications before deployment.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT
• Minimum of 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile or a similar position
• Higher degree diploma (bachelor or engineer)
• English B2 level
• Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing
• Certificates: ISTQB advanced or equivalent certification recognized internationally (or 3 years of experience in test management above the required minimum)
• Expert in designing test environments
• Hands-on experience with testing complex systems
• Experience in setting up a test management tool for a new project
• Experience in providing test documentation
• Experience in leading testing in complex projects
• Practical knowledge of testing tools
• Analytical mind, attention to detail, and ability to pick things up quickly
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of processes in the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans
• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint-based applications

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities
• Develops test plan, test cases, and designs testing environment
• Implements, executes, and debugs application test cases and scripts
• Validates and documents completion of testing and development
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
• Contributes to quality assurance in the project
• Documents tests and tracks defects
• Monitors test results, analyses system quality, and reports on status and trends
• Cooperates with analysis, architects, Software Development and service desk teams

Candidate must be an EU citizen and must be working from Poland.
