DevSecOps Engineer (m/f)

HERTZ NEW TECHNOLOGIES sp. z o.o. is hiring for DevSecOps Engineer roles located in Zielona Góra and Rzeszów. The company focuses on software development with a commitment to integrating security throughout the development cycle.

• Experience working with Docker / Docker Compose
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar)
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
• Experience in infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of Git and version control principles
• Practical experience integrating complex systems
• Experience with software packaging (e.g., deb/rpm formats)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management concepts (CVE, CVSS)
• Understanding of Linux system and container hardening
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of networking and virtualization
• Ability to write automation scripts in Python, Go, or Shell

• Integrate software components into cohesive, secure releases
• Design and maintain reliable CI/CD infrastructure with embedded security controls
• Prepare and maintain test, integration, and production environments
• Develop mechanisms for smooth and secure system updates and deployments
• Monitor cybersecurity requirements, resilience, and compliance with applicable standards
• Document deployment, release, and security procedures

Scope of responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain pipelines for builds, releases, and deployments
• Create and manage CI/CD processes and supporting tools
• Automate configuration, preparation, and management of environments
• Prepare and maintain hardened test, integration, and production environments
• Build, manage, and optimize Docker images and repositories
• Develop and maintain release processes and deployment updates for clients
• Monitor and enforce cybersecurity, resilience, and compliance standards, translating requirements into controls
• Support compliance and certification processes, including audit documentation and reports
• Participate in security incident response and disaster recovery procedure development
• Collaborate with engineering teams for smooth system integration and testing
