Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (m/k)

The Engineering Competence Center delivers services primarily to the automotive, railway, and Oil & Gas sectors.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco ISE (TrustSec, Dot1x, MAB, profiling, Guest Access, posture, REST API)
• Knowledge of authentication protocols: 802.1X, EAP-TLS, EAP-TEAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, SAML, MFA
• Experience in integration with IdP and knowledge of PKI and certificate management
• Familiarity with network segmentation techniques: TrustSec, SGT, VRF
• Experience deploying and maintaining Palo Alto NGFW firewalls (SSL decryption, threat prevention, HA Active/Active and Active/Passive)
• Automation of infrastructure using Ansible/Terraform and Python (IaC, API integrations)
• Experience working in large, distributed environments
• Higher education in computer science, information security, or related fields

Nice to have:

• Experience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, healthcare, finance)
• IaC with Terraform plus GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub)
• Scripting skills: Python, PowerShell or Bash
• Knowledge of enterprise networks: BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN
• Experience in mentoring others

• Designing and developing secure network access services (NAC, authentication, segmentation) in a global environment
• Managing Cisco ISE environment including upgrades, capacity planning, optimization, and access policies
• Configuring mechanisms such as Dot1x, MAB, Guest Access, device posture, and profiling
• Implementing microsegmentation based on Cisco TrustSec and SGT
• Integrating security platforms with identity providers (IdP)
• Automating infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and API integrations
• Building monitoring dashboards and reporting platform status
• Resolving complex incidents and root cause analysis
• Collaborating with distributed product teams
